Professorship / Associate Professorship that will be supported by “CAS 100 Talents Program ” or equivalent talent programs.
Successful candidates should hold a PhD degree(s), with no less than 3 years oversea study or work experience, and be internationally recognized in the following areas:
(1) Synthetic Biology; (2) Systems Biology; (3) Metabolic Engineering; (4) Biocatalysis; (5) Fermentation Engineering; (6) Biochemical and Bioprocess Engineering; (7) Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with affinity to Biotechnology.
Successful candidates are expected to possess essential social and management skills, to be able and willing to participate in academic administrations, and lead a team to carry out the research in the aforementioned areas.

Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will be offered Professorships or Associate Professorships, depending on individual experience.
Successful candidates will be supported with a strong start-up package (including start-up research funding of up to 3.3 million RMB, sufficient office/lab space, and housing allowance of up to 1.6 million RMB).
For exceptionally outstanding candidates, the salary and start-up package will be offered upon negotiation.
Successful candidates will be granted the priority to apply for the Tianjin 1000 Talent Program.
